HR Officer

About the role

We are looking for an HR Officer to act as the primary people partner for our operations in Curacao. The role will lead and execute the local HR strategy, aligning it with our global vision while fostering a purpose‑driven, multicultural workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with country leadership to translate business objectives into people strategies.
• Implement HR initiatives in line with global frameworks and local needs.
• Own the performance‑management cycle, ensuring fairness and development focus.
• Steward company culture, monitoring values and behaviours.
• Lead recruitment, ensuring inclusive and timely hiring.
• Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, safety and health programs.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, performance issues and conflict resolution.
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws and internal policies.
• Maintain relationships with external advisors such as legal and benefits partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR business partner or officer in a multi‑national environment.
• Strong knowledge of local labour legislation and HR best practices.
• Ability to advise managers on employee relations and performance matters.
• Excellent communication skills and cultural sensitivity.
• Track record of managing the full employee lifecycle and driving talent development.
