Supervisor Electrical

About the role

Damen Shiprepair Curaçao (DSCu) is seeking a Supervisor Electrical to lead all electrical work during ship maintenance and repairs. This role is essential for ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality electrical operations on a busy shipyard.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee ship repair operations by inspecting work scope, ensuring safety, preparing sites, coordinating team activities, and managing progress to deliver projects on time.
• Act as the technical point of contact for all electrical activities on each project.
• Safely connect and disconnect electrical equipment on vessels.

Required profile

• SBO‑4 level qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Certification according to NEN 3140 and NEN 3840 standards.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in ship repair.
• Proficient in spoken and written English; knowledge of Dutch, Spanish, or Papiamentu is an advantage. Local candidates are preferred.

Required skills

• SBO‑4 level Electrical Engineering knowledge.
• NEN 3140 certification.
• NEN 3840 certification.
