Project Manager - Security Guard Force

About the role

Continuity Global Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee the Local Guard Force supporting a U.S. Government contract in Willemstad. The role involves day‑to‑day management of security operations, contract compliance and coordination with U.S. representatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall management and oversight of Local Guard Force operations.
• Serve as primary operational contact for designated U.S. Government representatives.
• Monitor and analyse the local and regional security environment and recommend measures.
• Ensure guard force responsiveness to criminal, terrorist and security threats.
• Manage security personnel, staffing, performance and operational requirements.
• Maintain compliance with contract requirements, procedures and quality‑control standards.
• Conduct risk‑management planning and develop effective solutions.
• Coordinate communication among security personnel, company leadership and government representatives.
• Plan, define, sequence and manage project activities and resources.
• Visit each applicable U.S. Mission within the area of responsibility at least once per quarter.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary education or higher (National Diploma, Associate degree or equivalent).
• At least 10 years experience in police, military, security or Local Guard Force management.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory or command‑level experience.
• At least 5 years professional experience within Curaçao or the surrounding region.
• Must reside in the same city as the U.S. Embassy and be available 24/7 for contract matters.
• Citizenship of the host country or valid work visa and a current Curaçao driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other standard office‑management applications.
