Tax Staff - Cura

About the role

EY is looking for a Tax Staff member for its Cura head office. Tax professionals at EY combine agility, diverse thought, tax technical depth and the use of technology and analytics to deliver client service, and they develop dynamic leaders in a fast-changing business and tax environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in executing work with a compliance team, delivering it in a timely and effective way.
• Work with the tax team to provide comprehensive tax solutions.
• Research tax positions and apply them to specific client needs.
• Determine the information needed to complete accurate tax compliance products within budget, and plan how to gather and communicate it.
• Adapt to challenges in the compliance process and provide high-quality work that exceeds client expectations.
• Keep up to date on trends, developments and technical authorities and apply them to moderately complex situations.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in client relationships.
• Learn EY methodologies and tools, share work status with the team, seek assignments and look for new approaches to tax services.

Required profile

• Preferably a Master's degree in tax law or fiscal economics.
• Any related work experience is an asset.
• A commitment to learning in a tax technology environment.
• Curious, an active learner, nimble, innovative and open to new ideas.

Required skills

• Strong written and verbal communication in Dutch and English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
