Hotel & Residences Manager (Curaçao)

About the role

Bocobay, a vacation rental management company launched in 2020 in Aruba and expanded to Curaçao in late 2024, is looking for a Hotel & Residences Manager to take full ownership of one of its resorts in Curaçao, comprising 105 apartments with 170 bedrooms. The manager runs the property as a business, leads the on-site team and delivers 5-star guest experiences, while also handling escalated guest issues and building relationships with homeowners.

Key responsibilities

• Run the day-to-day operation of 105 apartments (170 bedrooms) to Bocobay's standards
• Lead, develop and motivate the on-site team (front desk, housekeeping, maintenance)
• Drive guest satisfaction and review scores, and handle escalated guest issues including compensation and relocation decisions
• Manage operational costs with the finance team and build relationships with homeowners and the HOA
• Maintain supplier relationships (laundry, landscaping, contractors) and carry out regular property inspections
• Onboard new units operationally, from inventory and photography to welcoming the first guests
• Represent Bocobay professionally and work with the General Manager, client relations, pricing and guest communications teams

Required profile

• Several years of hospitality experience, including at least 3 in a hotel or resort management position, ideally in the luxury segment
• Experience running a property of comparable scale (100+ keys) is a strong plus
• Direct responsibility for operational costs or a P&L in a previous role
• Ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team, solve problems independently and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
• Fluency in English and Dutch is a must; Papiamento and Spanish are a plus
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record and right to work in Curaçao
